Olivia's Senior Pictures
A few weeks back, I made the short trip to Dunvilla to take Olivia's senior pictures. Her family has an old family farm that they are turning into a vineyard. It provided the perfect backdrop for her pictures.

Lovely Liz
I had a blast yesterday with Liz and her mom while taking her senior pictures. The sky was threatening rain again, but we lucked out and it held off. Plus, because of the clouds, we where able to hit some spots I normally can't visit due to the hot sun. She had great selection of clothes and accessories that really accented her bright eyes.

White Winter
So, a few days ago I posted on Facebook that it was going to be a wonderful day to take outdoor pictures...I was wrong! The temp was great, but the wind was COLD. Luckily, I had a brave senior who really wanted to take some snow pictures. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them and can't thank her enough for being such a good sport. So remember families and seniors, winter outdoor pictures are an option!

Catching Up

It's been close to a month since I shot both of these session, but I haven't had a chance to share some of these photos, so here they are.

I love this family. They are so fun and easy to work with.

I took Dylan's sister's pictures last year, so I was thrilled when I got a call asking me to do his pictures, too. We took most of them at his grandparent's place just outside of PR. So many options, so little time!

Sept 1, 2009

It's hard to believe it's September already. Everyone is in back to school mode and summer is finally here--weather wise at least. My senior shoots are slowing down and I'm starting to get requests for family photos for Christmas cards!!

Elyse
Elyse came to the studio last Friday to have her pics taken. She's from Plymouth, but didn't want her pictures to look like everyone else's pictures. I think she made a great choice. Pelican is a great place to take pictures. There is so much natural beauty is such a small area. She requested some spots that she has seen in some of my other pics, but was pretty open to my suggestions. I love her serious face because it shows off her eyes so well.

Shooting, editing, proofing, designing... That's what I've been up to. I think everyone is realizing summer is almost over and they need to get in for pictures quick. I can't complain--it's been a lot of fun.

Bill & Kailey
I'm shooting Bill and Kailey's wedding next June, but we got together to do their engagement pictures last weekend so they could get some with Bill's Harley. We got some awesome pictures, both with and without the bike. Of course, he likes the ones with it best. I'm looking forward to working with these two more. They are a great couple. I know I say that all the time, but I'm really been lucky to work with so many great people! Here are a few of my favs.

Eric
I did Eric's pictures about a week ago. He made my job easy with his laid-back attitude and easy smile. While we were not able to take any pictures with the truck he is fixing up because it's not ready yet, we did take a few with his snowboard.

Andy
On Tuesday I did Andy's senior pictures. I have to admit, I wasn't overly excited when his mom called that morning to tell me to make sure I had shorts along because they wanted to take pictures out at a sandbar on their lake. Of course, that was at 10 am when it was cloudy, windy and 65 degrees. By the time we got out to their beautiful house, it was sunny, calm and upper 70s, so I was more than happy to hope on a boat. As you can tell, Andy is into wakeboarding and snowboarding, so we incorporated those into a few of his pictures.
