Moose and Pumpkins

Last weekend I took a little trip to Fargo. We took a little detour along they way and were rewarded by getting to see one of the moose that has been living nearby us. He was just outside of Downer, having a snack. Luckily, I had my camera along because I was planning on taking pictures of my little girl with some pumpkins. She's adorable, I know.

Sept 23, 2009

I took this families photos a little over a week ago, but I'm just getting around to posing their pictures. I LOVED the lake/sunset photos. It was an adventure to get the photos, there was a long drive and a flat tire involved, but it was a great evening and well worth the effort!

New Photo Display

If you guys like checking out the pictures on my blog, stop by the Fergus Falls mall and see my window display. It's across from Vanity. Let me know if anyone has feedback on how to make it better!

Kids and Mud
Most people would think putting kids and mud puddles together for pictures would spell disaster, but these two where a little apprehensive about getting down and dirty. It was for the better, however, because we got these great pictures of them playing in the mud, but not being filthy. We did also do some out of the mud, but I couldn't resist the big puddle once I saw it. Beautiful kids!

Fall Equals Football
Three young boys and a football could equal a hectic photoshoot, but these guys are so well behaved. They came to me last Saturday to get some family pictures taken and a few of just the three boys. I thought since they are into football right now we should head outside and play in the leaves because to me, football means fall.

Sept 11, 2009

What have I been up to lately. Well, mostly the not-so-glamourous aspects of running a studio, i.e. paperwork! I have had a few shoots recently that I'll pick a few favs from to show you, but what I really have been dying to show off is this football banner I made for the PR Viking Seniors. I think it turned out great. Hope you guys enjoy it too.

I took picture of these two cuties a few weeks ago at their home. It looked like an amazing place for 2 growing kids to live. Lots of trees to climb and places to explore.

Josh
I just took Josh's senior pictures this week. Like a lot of my seniors this year, he told me he didn't have any requests, just to make the pictures look good. No problem. While I LOVE to hear people suggestions and ideas, it's also great when people just trust you to do a great job. I also like that he came to me later in the season because I got a chance to combine some of the ideas I've had for past seniors and mix them into his session. Here are a few of my favs.

Tim and Emily

Are you ready to hear me go on and on about another bride and groom that I just loved to work with, had the best spot for pictures and on and on. No? To bad, because I LOVED these two! They were so great to work with and both of their families were so nice. I may be a little bias because the groom's sister was one of my closest friends growing up, so I got to know him and his whole family very well. They have so much love for each other, it's amazing. I just met Emily and her family that day, but I could tell that they are welcoming and caring people as well. Now, the church was a dream come true for me. I love architecture and this place had so much great detail I could have spent the whole day just shooting the church. Plus, the light cooperated so we could get some breathtaking shots in the entryway. I could ramble on about how many great things there are about this wedding, but I'm sure you just want to see the pictures, so here they are.
