June 30, 2009 part 2

Bianca

Friday morning I had the joy of taking Bianca's senior pictures.  I LOVE her name and I LOVE her photos.  Her dark hair and fair skin was perfect with the bright colors she picked.  She wanted to show off her love of music, so she brought some sheet music with her.  She sounds like a very talented person!  After we did some pictures in the studio, we traveled to her house to do some with her piano and around her house.  She had the best faded wood that we took advantage of.

Halie

Another busy weekend of shooting for me.  Luckily, I got to head to my home town of Avon on Saturday and Sunday.  While down there, I met up with my good friend Maria D and did a quick head shot for her.  She's starting her State Farm agency soon, so if anyone needs a wonderful agent, Maria is your girl.  She's knowledgeable and hard working--can't go wrong with her!  Sunday was a WINDY day, but that didn't stop me from meeting up with Halie to do a few senior pictures.  We started out at her exquisitly landscaped yard.  There was great brick work, trees and flowers to work with...it was great!  Then we headed to the lake I grew up swimming in to grab a few quick pics there.  It was unfortunate that it was a little to windy to hang out there long.  Lastly, we headed to the pool she perfected her swimming in for some final pictures showing off her love of the water.  All in all, I think we have some outstanding pictures for her to show off!

Earlier this week, I had the chance to get to know Rob and Nicole a little better during their engagement session.  It was a nice night out, so after a few in the studio, we headed outside to take advantage of the great lighting and calm water.

Michael

Senior picture have started!  I'm excited to start another summer of getting to know local seniors while taking their pictures.  With Michael, we took a few more formal shots indoors, but the real fun started when we headed out to their breathtaking property.  With the hills, long grass and water, it's easy to forget you are right in town.  We drove around on their golf cart to avoid the wet early morning grass while still getting the the best spots.  I wish everyone had that many choice spots on their property!  Thanks guys for letting me shoot there!

Here goes nothing...

Well, I finally gave in.  I'm starting a blog.  I have been meaning to for a while, but I'm afraid I won't be able to keep up, so please forgive me if I fall behind.  I'll try to stay up to date with new promotions and shoots. Lately, I've been keeping busy with the start of senior photos, weddings and a few engagement shoots.  This summer promises to be a busy time for me, but I'm looking forward to it.  I love getting to know all of my new clients and sharing in a special moment in their lives.
