Love Is In The Air

Here are two engagement sessions I've done recently.

Cara and I met earlier this year and had a chance to talk about photography and her upcoming wedding. They are getting married in Montana, but since they are living here right now, they wanted to do some pictures around here. Eric's last name is Dunn, so she suggested taking a few pictures with the Dunn Lane street sign.

Seniors!

First off, I would like to apologize. I normally try to limit my blog posts to 5 or 6 of my favorite pictures from a session, but I honestly could not narrow these two senior girls down any more than I did here. Both came with great outfits that fit her personality, good ideas and great attitudes!

I have one word for Megan's pictures: GORGEOUS! Love the leather jacket and look how her eyes pop out in the outside pictures!

Kellie found a lot of great outdoor places for us to go to around her home town of Elizabeth. I love checking out new places to photograph and she though of some wonderful ones for us. She did make me work for these, however. I had to wade through water, climb up a steep, slippery hill (with water at the bottom waiting for me and my camera to fall in), and take a four wheeler to her deer stand...after putting on the tick spray to avoid wood ticks. Nice! I think you will agree it was worth it.

I'm taking a break from proofing to share a few pictures from the second wedding I shot last weekend. I have to say, I don't know who has a better job than me. Just look at these amazing pictures I get to create. I have so many I absolutely love from this wedding, I'm sure I will be sharing more once I get some time to take a good look.

Sneak Peak

Every Tuesday during the summer in Pelican Rapids, we have minnow races in the park. This year, I was asked to offer pictures with our famous Pelican Pete a few Tuesdays. Since I have always been found of our giant pelican, I gladly accepted. So, this Tuesday will be my first day. Hope to see some of you there!

I love doing engagement session because it gives me a chance to get to know a couple before the wedding. I get to see how they interact and what their personality is. I had a great time with these two. They remind me so much of myself that I think their wedding is going to be fun and not to mention energetic with 7 kids in the wedding party!
