Shooting, editing, proofing, designing... That's what I've been up to. I think everyone is realizing summer is almost over and they need to get in for pictures quick. I can't complain--it's been a lot of fun.

Bill & Kailey
I'm shooting Bill and Kailey's wedding next June, but we got together to do their engagement pictures last weekend so they could get some with Bill's Harley. We got some awesome pictures, both with and without the bike. Of course, he likes the ones with it best. I'm looking forward to working with these two more. They are a great couple. I know I say that all the time, but I'm really been lucky to work with so many great people! Here are a few of my favs.

Eric
I did Eric's pictures about a week ago. He made my job easy with his laid-back attitude and easy smile. While we were not able to take any pictures with the truck he is fixing up because it's not ready yet, we did take a few with his snowboard.

Karla & PJ
Karla and PJ got married Saturday, Aug. 15, 2009. They are an amazing couple and I feel lucky to have had the chance to work with them. They were planning a reception outside at the brides parents ranch, but due to the weather, they had to move to their backup location. This turn of events would ruin the day for a lot of brides, but not Karla. She had the best attitude, which made the day relaxed and fun for everyone involved. Music and PJ's Irish heritage played a big part in the wedding also. How many people have bagpipes at their wedding!!

Andy
On Tuesday I did Andy's senior pictures. I have to admit, I wasn't overly excited when his mom called that morning to tell me to make sure I had shorts along because they wanted to take pictures out at a sandbar on their lake. Of course, that was at 10 am when it was cloudy, windy and 65 degrees. By the time we got out to their beautiful house, it was sunny, calm and upper 70s, so I was more than happy to hope on a boat. As you can tell, Andy is into wakeboarding and snowboarding, so we incorporated those into a few of his pictures.

Niccole & Rob
Niccole and Rob got married on Aug 1, 2009. Luckily for them, it didn't rain on their wedding day, however, we had the wind to fight. The whole bridal party was great to work with, lots of fun and always joking around. The different colored dresses worked great and Niccole just happened to find sunglasses that morning that matched everyones dresses! I also LOVED how the bridesmaids were barefoot during the ceremony--talk about casual! While the little ring bearer couldn't quite make it until the end of the ceremony, he did steal the show for a few minutes when he was walking down the aisle and got upset because he dropped his pillow. Too cute!

Derek & Stacy
Derek and Stacy tied the knot in Grand Forks, ND on Friday, July 31.  It was every photographers dream wedding for so many reasons.  First, the bride is absolutely beautiful and had a fabulous dress.  Second, it was an overcast day that was not to hot for the groomsmen and not to cold for the bridesmaids.  We started our group pictures outdoor, which I don't really like to do because it can lead to a little chaos, but it was good that we did because the minute we finished up outdoors, it started to rain and didn't stop all night.  I had such a hard time picking which pictures I wanted to show off, but here are a few of my favorite.  You guys are great and I wish you many years of happiness!
