Sneak Peak

I know I have been slacking on blog posts, so my goal for today and next week is to share some of my fav images from the last few weeks. I'm going to start with 3 pics from a wedding I shot last weekend in my home town. Congrats Amanda and Nathan, I can't wait to work on the rest of your wedding.

So Happy...So Sad

When I found out I was going to be shooting one of my favorite families, I knew instantly I wanted to try out an idea I had for some fun kids pics---balloons. It was a huge success. I honestly could have picked any of them images from this session for my favs to share, but here are the lucky ones that made the cut.

Come here, lets take a picture, oops, don't worry, I'm ok.

It ended bad, after I promised them the balloons and the wind took them away. So tragic!

Angie and Cameron are Engaged!

Love the dress (hers), love the shoes (his), which means... they get to go to my special love tree! I found this tree while driving around a few weeks ago and these two seemed like the perfect couple debut it with. I can't wait to shoot their wedding next summer!

Amanda & Scott Are Married!

Ok, so they have been married for about a month now, but I have had so many great images to share I have not had a chance to put these on my blog yet. They had a great day for a wedding; plus the rain held off until we finished with pictures. A lovely country church filled with close friends and family made their day truly beautiful.

I think all I need to say is GORGEOUS! We had to reschedule Shauna's pictures because of a rainy day, and we lucked out with one of the nicest days! We even had a wonderful soft breeze that gave a little life to her hair.

Exactly 1 year from when I shot their beautiful wedding, I got to meet Derek and Stacy's beautiful daughter. She was an angel while I was there, but her parents did inform me she was probably a little tired from her busy night of keeping them awake.

Senior Sisters

These sisters came to me a few weeks ago wanting their pictures to be unique and individual. I found poses and locations that fit them and they were thrilled with the experience! I also loved that they came full of energy. I think we all had a blast creating these awesome images!
