Aug 13, 2009

I know, I've been slacking on the blog for a while, but I have good reason.  My HD went out on my computer (don't worry, all photos are on an external HD and backed up on DVD) so I had to bring my computer in to get fixed.  Easy fix, one would think.  In fact, I was told I would have it back the following day.  Well, that was over a week and the HD is on back order, so no word on when it will be fixed.  Grrrrrr.  So, one new computer later, I am back at it working day and night to get back on track with my proofing and orders.  Why can't this stuff happen in February!  So to make up for being away, you get a special treat of some of my best pictures of the summer from some recent grads.

Berit
Berit came to see me 2 weeks ago and we had a great time.  It was a little windy out, but we found some places with a little cover to get some nice shots.  I loved how the hair light shows up on her beautiful dark hair and her orange shirt showed up great outside.

Katie
I had a blast taking pictures with Katie. She has a great smile and was open for anything...even jumping off her dock for a picture.  We where hoping to take a few pictures of her barefoot waterskiing at sunset, but the lake was a little to choppy, so we'll do that in the next few week.  However, I did get these awesome pictures of her.  And just for the record, she tells me she doesn't have a favorite sport, but I liked her volleyball pictures better then her other sports shots.

Daniel
Dan came more prepared for his pictures than some of my other seniors this year.  I'm not going to name names, but you know who you are.  Honestly, though, this didn't take much.  He did do his homework and knew he wanted to take a few pics with his Harley in front of a certain building I had done some previous pictures by.  And while he also has a great smile, I loved so many of his serious pictures so I picked most of them to show you.

That's all for today.  I'll do a little more catching up tomorrow and give you a peak at a few weddings I've been working on.  Now, off to a lake to cool off from this 90 degree weather.  I'm not complaining!!!  I'm thankful summer is visiting us for a few days.
